French and spanish songs image.jpg

Paris has always been a Mecca for composers. Our theme this year is composers who lived or studied in Paris in the later part of the 19th century and the early 20th century.  We have chosen a lovely and varied selection of melodic songs by French and Spanish composers ranging from Parisian cabaret through French elegance and Spanish passion to flamenco.  Composers include Fauré, Satie,

Lili Boulanger, Pauline Viardot, Granados and Falla.  The concert will last about an hour with refreshments afterwards.
